Hood stand : build of material.....

The absorber for the hood is damaging the CF hood.....

An absorber meant for metal hood will surely kill the CF hood slowly.....

A solution is needed and I turn to 6mm SUS303 rod, a 6mm gas spring bracket, and a clevis for gas spring for making my own personalized hood stand a reality.....

The rod here is seen with the M6x1.0mm thread machined on both ends.....
