Hands itchy and I twisted the manual boost controller (MBC).....

As the title says, I did it and opps, nothing happened.....

I even turned the knob to the end on both ends and alas nothing happened.....

Then I noticed the previous owner has routed the vacuum hoses like the stock setup.....meaning going though the solenoid before going to the internal wastegate actuator.....

So, I did a direct connection between the MBC and actuator.....


The result is a scary one where the actuator did not work and boost went up to 1.0bar.....

This is how it looks like before and also now after rerouting it back.....

Was so worried and promptly reroute it back and maybe a EBC is on the way?

What is clean and clear.....

My lily pipes are clear again.....

Well, another lesson learnt today.....

Them Eheims 2213s can't run with proper suction when the rubber tubes and check valve are dirty.....

Promptly cleaned them today and my surface skimmer is sucking in waters like mad again.....

Those who know me may have known my intention of getting another skimmer or maybe 2215.....

If you think I'm mad, I'm already mad at getting a couple of 2213 running in my 2 feeter.....

I can't deny the filters are swallowing my shrimplets.....

I cleaned both the Eiheim 2213 after noticing the flow on the lily pipes and surface skimmer were reduced to drops literally.....

Upon cleaning them, I found shrimplets and also a Red Cherry adult shrimp that found out the hard way about what surface skimmer will do to you if you go too near it.....

Now there is a net on the inlet of the submerged suction of the surface skimmer.....

I have also changed the lighting period to 6 hours daily after I found the Japanese Hairgrass' roots were decaying.....

Now they; the Japanese Hairgrass; are back to their normal selves.....

Water finds it way into the car.....

With age comes squeaks and leaks.....

Spent a whole Sunday afternoon pouring water and plugging it with epoxy resin and hardener combo.....

Problem solved with me suffering a bit of sun burn.....

September came and went and my childhood buddy got married.....

Well, I was out of action for a while with lots of wedding over the weekends in September and on the second day of the tenth month of the year twenty ten, my buddy got married.....
