Oil Change.....

As a matter of record, this is an unfinished business.....

Nothing life threatening but an oil change.....

Mileage stands at 78,480km.....

World's best airfilter with an improved adapter.....

The adapter is a basically used to connect the air filter to the air flow sensor.....

However the unit that came with the box was having a slot not to my liking.....

The slot was smaller than the net elements on the air flow sensor.....

 

The slots were promptly measured and the airflow has an opening of 71mm or 72mm and the adapter 67mm or 68mm.....

As greedy as I am, this is just not enough as evidently shown below.....

The chrome edge of the airflow sensor opening is only visible when the holes are not concentric but otherwise not visible when concentric.....

As you can see, now it has been 'rebored' to close to 85mm and this is just perfect with the chrome edges exposed.....

I want an iPhone 5 too.....

As childish as it may sound.....I do want one.....

So, Apple; please fulfill my wishes.....

A S15 or a GTR fuel pump.....you judge.....

This was taken out from my fuel tank and inspected.....

Mech said it is a GTR unit but previous owner of the car insists it is a S15 unit.....

You judge.....

Never in my wildest imagination.....

I never thought the day would come when I get an adjustable castor rod.....

And such a thick one.....

One look and it seemed like a Kazama unit but I just don't think so.....

Old news but newly announced.....

The driver side power windows motor decided to stop working some weeks back.....

After searching for a significant amount of time, I finally found a replacement.....

This is the unit in the car and not to be thrown away, instead salvaged for future usage.....

The world's best filter.....

I just hope what is being claimed by K&N is true and good.....

Meanwhile, I got myself the 6 inches filter.....

It's Torco SR1 time again.....

It's that time of the year again when car is in need of new fluid, the engine specifically.....

I got a balance of one each Torco SR1 Supersport Series 10W40 and Superstreet Series 5W40.....

Added another Torco SR1 Supersport Series 10W40 and two Torco SR1 Supersport Series 20W50.....

However time did not permit changes and the fluids stay in their bottles.....

Many things but let's talk about Superpro.....

Well, after having a thorough check by my mechanic; it seemed that the current lower control arm bush can still be used.....

The Superpro SPF1009K will have to wait a little longer before seeing any action then.....

Car has been having this 'wandering' feeling to the steering lately and I had this checked at my trusted alignment shop.....

Was told that the castor rod bush is a goner and possibly the inner bush for the lower control arm is joining the gang as well.....

At the same time, 3 seemed to make a good company and the lower arm ball joint may likely be a willing participant.....

So I've got myself an adjustable castor rod but I haven't seen it as yet.....but this I have seen.....

Reprolabels....it's finally here 2.....

Well no surprise here but here's a simple envelope to everyone but it meant a world to me when we are talking about the Ice Cream Truck.....

Been spending one of the holidays doing this.....

Nothing much really except to make an already messy engine bay somewhat a little tidier.....

 

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I didn't take a 'before' photo so I would like to take an opportunity to say that it is indeed an improvement.....

Ahhhh, what can i say, no wires.....at least almost.....
