It's time to lower the temperature.....

I learn it the hard way that any issues with a force induction motor cannot be ignored in whatever way and must be dealt with the soonest possible.....

I had a ruptured water hose under the throttle body and it was replaced however I did not address the other one which connects the 2 sides of the engine block.....

True enough it ruptured on me and this time I was stranded and car had to be towed.....

Minus side is towing fees, plus side, the wow factor of my car looking like some car going to a track session on a carrier.....hahahahahahahaha.....

Anyway, I intend to address this permanently and I finally got an oil cooler from jdmautolink. Of course it goes beyond a simple bolt on. There is some modification on the adapter as this is 180SX kit.....

I just copied this from jdmautolink.....the cooler comes with steel braided lines with HPI and Earl's fittings.....

Unfortunately it can't be fitted to my car as yet.....once modified.....I hope this solves the cooling issues.....

And I have complemented the oil cooler with a SARD Low Temp Thermostat and of course the ruptured hose has been replace by a SAMCO hose.....

When the oil cooler finally goes in, the water lines will be bypass at certain points and cooling duties are shared by the water channel and of course the oil cooler.....
